Book for the Month. Have to recommend this book. One of Tozer’s greatest gifts is his articulation. He is able to describe incredibly complex truths in a way that is simplistic and yet profound. The book seeks to show the practicality of someone that seeks to know God. We all have times where we drift off from the course of Christianity without even knowing it (not backsliding, but legalism, condemnation, works based faith ect.) Tozer seeks to bring everything back to the one thing that matters, God. I loved reading this book and finding evidences of roots that have cropped up in my life that have started the subtle impact of taking me away from things others than God Himself. One of my favorite books.
