Music for the Month
I have always been a fan of The Decemberists. They provide a Bright Eyes type of folky music feel with the vocal uniqueness that resembles Green Day (without the obscenities). They recently came out with a new album called The King is Dead. I gotta say, I’m a fan. Starting off the album is the ever more rare sound of a harmonica thriving the begining track of Don’t Carry it All…Don’t think you could have started out the album better. I don’t know if it was the harmonica or not but I couldn’t help but smile. If you are looking for some new type of music, I would recommend checking these guys (and one girl) out.
